Practice makes perfect. I hope you students enjoyed the homework last night as it made connections between real life situations and slope/y-intercept. Today we have an opportunity to finish our work in the Additional Practice packet (also called the “Slope/Y-intercept Packet”) making sure we al understand how to make connections between real life situations and the appropriate graph, table, and equation.
Entry Task was to write an equation that is parallel and one that is perpendicular to a given equation. y = 4x - 12
Homework tonight (12/8/2010) is to finish our in-class work: Slope/Y-Intercept Packet (Additional Practice Packet) pg. 105 #7,8 pg. 110 #1,2,3,4,5
